Well done on the win. A win is a win.

But at the end of the day celtic, killie(who our bitches have beat them twice and drawn) hibs, st johnstone, Dundee, hamilton, hearts, partick, motherwell(cup) have all got something off them this season. We havent come close. Hows that negative. Its fact.

Fingers just about thawed out enough to type my thoughts.

We started pretty poorly and thought it was going to be another long day, but that changed after we scored as we played some decent stuff especially in second half, considering conditions. The most disappointing thing was that we were very wasteful and on another day could easily have won 3-0 or 4-0.

    Some random thoughts

-Would want to see Stevie May's disallowed goal again as thought it was just a good old fashioned shoulder charge
-Christie still not playing anywhere near full potential and really should have scored from rebound off keeper
-McGinn another not a patch on what he was in first few games back - also should have scored just after half time
-Sadly think that May is not going to cut it with us as offers very little (much the same as all of our other forwards I'm afraid)
-Good save by Woodman when Dundee guy clean through 1on1 when score 0-0, very little to do otherwise
-Defense solid enough against a very limited Dundee attack
-McLean continues to be immense - really going to miss him
-Chidi a bit hit and miss - suspect we will have to resort to long balls in semi final to bypass him and O'Connor in midfield
-Dundee were terrible and look a good chance to finish in bottom two, hope not as one of the better away trips

Overall a necessary three points in our easiest game left this season helped of course by sevco and Hibs results

It should be taken as a given that folk that take the time to register, log in & post on this early 90s website, will enjoy the win

Anything after that is fair comment

Surely it's OUR results against the huns that are infuriating.

Should be celebrating today as 2nd place is still in our control and our nearest rivals have dropped points.

Should be celebrating today as 2nd place is back in our control and we have another chance to prove we're second best.
The results after the split will decide if we will finish 2nd. Celtic, Rangers, Hibs , Hearts and Kilmarnock will certainly put us to the test. We definitely have to improve in an attacking sense or we are stumped.
Looking forward to seeing how McInnes copes with results after the split this season.

Been out of sorts all season and clearly missing Hayes. We pumped a better Dundee team 7-0 away last season and today we're struggling to get ANY goals.
Hopefully the team that beat Hibs will turn up for the remaining games, though that might be asking too much. At least we know they've got that in them.

Aye they are but the fact almost everyone in the league has got something off them and we have had a shatrick against them is infuriating

Anyway. The slump has been ended in the league. Get in
