Something we can agree on Terry.

Although, if he's not punted, I sincerely hope he can.

You have to bear in mind that Motherwell can attract players we can't due not only to their league situation but the fact the players can live in Glasgow.

A ****hole but more attractive by perception to Dundee.

We have to hope that the development of Dundee is a huge success as if it is we can access new markets of interested players.

St Andrews only helps to attract some through it's facilities but a one bed flat is like 750k. So it's out of reach in terms of living there. We need Dundee to be a pull like Glasgow is for Motherwell, Hamilton, Killie, QOS etc.

And that may explain a lot.

We are paying over the odds for average players like Sunderland do cause it's not as attractive to live here.

    Both clubs hopelessly underperforming.

Glasgow's a ****hole & living in Dundee is not attractive?!
    You Stirling based Frank?
Were Dundee United players in the good old days less fussy about where they lived, they just put up with the hardship of living in Dundee?
    What a strange post.

Why do and why have so many players for years lived in Edinburgh, Glasgow, even Stirling over the years?

    I love living in Dundee.

What I'm saying is that some players may not entertain the idea of coming to Dundee United because they wrongly think Dundee is a backwater.

And in the good old days most players were Scottish and went where they could. They earned much less and were tied to 8 year deals etc.

It's a fair comment Frank, the are regular complaints on here with folk saying that we should have players living locally.

I'd love it if we had more players living locally.

The redevelopment of the city can help with that.

Perception of the city is changing.

Doubt having a player, living catchment area could work now. Especially when we're normally handing out one year deals.
They should however be training in Dundee instead of out at St Andrews.
Complete waste of time and money having top facilities when they can't even sum up the energy to pass, tackle or play as a team.
If they want to fart about not giving a **** have them run around Dundee taking the flak they deserve.

The sooner the V & A opens the sooner we'll see some quality signings!

    Give the V & A footballer's wages!

Hope it can play center half.
