OT) An Increase in crime

I watched the SAS series that's been on tv recently. One of the contestants was brought in to have a word with the real SAS men. They asked for an explanation as to why he'd applied for the programme.

He told his story.
Whist working away from home one night he took a phone call from his wife who was concerned about a bloke hanging around outside their house. Down the phone line he heared his wife being stabbed to death by the man she was affraid of and his children crying over her body.
The police came and arrested the guy.

It's got to be one of the worst thing you can imagine going through.

I saw that tv show too frog was horrific story he told his captives , seriously what must go through your mind when listening to that

South Yorkshire is no different from anywhere else as far as anti-social behaviour is concerned. It's society as it is today.
Most areas have people going round in the early hours trying to break into a garage / shed / car.
A neighbour had his quarter-light window broken on his car, alarm went off and the anti-social people just strolled away knowing full well they had little chance of being aprehended.
Best to let them go rather than challenge them, you never know what can happen.

Everyone, please make sure you keep your doors locked when your in the house at all times! Especially in the Swinton (rotherham) area! The scariest thing happened to me last night that you think will never really happen to you! I would hate to think it could happen to anyone else! So Dan was at work & I was home alone & in bed & at 11pm there was a knock at the door, opened the bedroom window & it was a man asking if he could come in and check my water supply! I told him deffinitley not & closed the window & watched him walk off up the street, I thought it was very strange so I rang dan & told him what had happened & whilst I was on the phone a car pulled up to the top of my driveway and there was was a man and woman that was just staring into my house, Dan said he was coming home to check everything was ok & told me to go downstairs in meantime & make sure all the windows were shut and all doors locked. So when I went downstairs to check and the woman from the car started banging on my window telling me to let her in & she was an escort & she wanted money! I told her to go away & ran back upstairs to ring the police, whilst I was on the phone to the police I saw the man running down my drive with a big carving knife & started trying to kick my door down! I opened the bedroom window again to try and reason with him as I was in complete panic & the police heard it all on the phone & told me to go and hide in the house in case he managed to get in, a few minutes later the banging stopped & Dan was pulling up on the street & saw them driving away! I have no idea who these people were and I would say they were Romanian & with some of the things they was saying it was like they knew I was home alone. I dread to think what would have happened if he had managed to break down the door! Armed Police came out straight away & was out looking all night & doing an investigation! Please everyone make sure you keep everything locked when your at home as now I know, this can really happen to anyone!

Probably is millertop I got it from her next door neighbor so I’m not shocked he altered the story, but yeah sounds about right
