Probably the best result for Derby today. It gives the walking wounded a little more time to recover. Those who would have played carrying an injury won't be making it worse and there will be no new injuries. Gives us a greater chance of hitting the ground running against Sunderland a week on Friday with a fully fit squad.

We will also have a proper team available for the rescheduled game against Cardiff.

    Positive outcome!

Best result for two months! Has a match at PP ever been called off because of bad weather before? Can’t remember one.

Out of respect rather than because of weather then?
Remember playing Sheffield United, probably also then managed by Warnock, in a night match towards the end of Jan. 2004 when the roads all around were very difficult. Great game...won 2-1 as I recall...pitch was fine but the conditions for supporters getting to and from were as bad as I’ve seen in Derby.
