Just wondering what the average cost is for internet service over there. We keep on being told we pay one of the highest rates in the world in Canada, I pay on average 30 pounds per month with a speed around 20mbps.

Brazil. 20mbps. About 21 pounds a month. I thought we were expensive.

You can get it for half that price over here (if you pay line rental in advance) but speeds aren't consistent. Pay more get better speed.

£20 a month 100Mb inc line rental and weekend calls, involved cancelling service and haggling when they rang to try and get me to re-sign

mines expensive as well, but not sure how much as its allin with tv, netflix , skysports etc etc etc

All local calls here have always been free you only pay for long distance. It seems in general the internet is quite a bit cheaper over there but then again my telephone bill is very low so I guess it evens out.
