WTF I can tell you now after doing some research into it, EVERY player in our first team squad has suffered either an injury or suspension, this is why our lineup has never settled this season
Not sure about statistics, maybe someone can provide some, but the number of injuries we are seeing in the 1st team squad seems to be out of kilter with recent seasons? Latest is DeBock, but there are plenty of others.
Is it training/fitness regimes that are not preparing players well enough, the "rotation" that gives players limited competitive game time, or what?

It has felt like the wenger disease hadn't it, what could have maybe been a decent squad if not decimated by constant injuries, can't be blamed on the facilities, they're supposedly top notch, must be the conditioning coaches fitness coaches over working them, or our physios and doctors not recovering them quick enough
Baring in mind ayling became out for half a season, shaughnessy a third of it, ekuban has had 2 long injuries, roofe current one has lasted a while, hernandez and Okane have had injuries throughout the season on and off, Roberts pretty much arrived injured, lonergan debock Cooper forshaw Vieira Dallas lasogga have all had injuries, we have a decent sized squad but it hasn't felt like it
To put it in perspective, the teams at the top tend to keep the same 11 for most of the season, this results normally in consistent form and promotion
It could be argued that without all our injuries and suspensions that we would be top 6 right now, with TC probably still as head coach
A lot of those in sports science think the extensive muscle building and weight training is making muscles too powerful for the bones, joints and ligaments that support them. Far more ACL type injuries than there used to be.
If if you look at rugby it is like a ticking time bomb - u16 kids are huge and a lot of the best talent gets badly injured between 16 and 19 and never fully recovers. The kids take all sorts of supplements to get fitter and stronger.
Footballers are also also far stronger physically than they used to be and so more strain on the body. Hard to play through injuries as I) game so fast now and Ii) player welfare starting to be taken a little more seriously.
Not just us us but lots of teams with injuries WTF.
the teams at the top are there for a reason clive , they are better than we are regardless of injuries and suspensions .
part of the owner and managers job clive , is to account for these eventualities before the season even starts , by making sure the squad is covered in all positions with players of equal ability , not relying on the same three or four players to bail us out of the **** all the time lol

Wrong marley, the teams at the top are always the ones who use the least players in a season, that is fact fella lol
the teams at the top clive , have quality players throughout the team , and dont complain about injuries or suspensions, like you are doing about leeds , because they have players in their squads with equal ability who can cover in all positions .
leeds have been relying on saiz all season, because the rest of the midfield is crap , same as jansson in defence , the bottom line is we need another eight or nine players of similiar ability to them two, before we can even begin thinking about promotion.
now now Marley lad fella LOL, in the interests of consistency I feel it only right to note you have previously accepted a Forshaw is decent and Alioski ain’t bad and that Hernandez has quality - seems out of kilter with what you are saying LOL fella LOL hehe ha ho hey LOL
