    United at corners

    I can't believe how United defend corners. They stand on the 18 yard line grappling with the forwards then run back towards the goal when the ball is crossed. Would it not be better to run forward to meet the ball coming over?


    PS. We don't defend corners well.

    Our defending of corners are shambolic
    On Saturday no United players outside the box
    No United players between half way line to the edge of the box allowing full pressure scenario from ICT midfield

    We should leave the 2 wingers up from corners and as soon as the ball leaves our box we push out and go on the counter

    Agree with all of the above but can't help thinking that the short-armed bombscare in goals doesn't help.

    That sounds just like zonal defending, never popular on here....
