it's obvious he needed guidance and a little pampering.

I like Rafa, but Mitro is not one of his success stories.
but I'd still put my faith in the manager over the player.

for one reason or another, they don't work well together, so, if Rafa stays, I'm happy for Mitro to go, but if Rafa goes, I'd like to see him given another chance.

(I still can't justify Hosses Poo over Mitro)
But Mick....either you're for Rafa or against him? You cannot possibly say that you support and trust him whilst at the same time sometimes question his actions in a fair and reasonable manner?

Well - we do often play counter attack - not always, but we have done often this season. He´s a big physical player and not the fastest. To me he never seemed to play the target man/link role for our counter attacks - maybe the problem was that Rafa wanted him to but Mitro wanted to score the goals?

    Touchee Hughie

I like Mitro but of the two i prefer Rafa here, if that means we lose Mitro, so be it.

He's have a good time in championship and should do well at World Cup, that will at least massively boost his value.

it's also possible it may educate him.

I'm with you here, it's just that I don't see how Joselu is contributing with more than Mitro. I know they're different types, but we would have had more of a threat going forward with Mitrovic - but maybe less defensive work from him. Your last suggestion is probably true.
