Why is that date topical and interesting to us you might say to yourself ? Well , this was the last time Queens had won at Tannadice . A whole 85 years ago. I doubt even Cresswell was born then.

I'm not sure pal but I have a feeling it's not many times. Before we recently started playing them in league games, we hadn't played them ( in league games) since the early 60s. The main reason obviously that United were nearly always in a higher division than us Ftivano is the man to answer this if he notices the thread.

Queens hadn't played the Arabs since dropping out of the First Division in season 1963/4 at Tannadice unless they played them in any Cup ties before the last few seasons.

we narrowly got pipped 2-1 at tanadice in the early 90s i think ,wee gordon scoring to put us 1-0 up ,i was there but canny remember the year exactly it was a replay as origional fixture was called of due to bad weather .

JRSLeftpeg is correct in his assumption that because we have not been in the same league very often in all those
years we have to go back to 1933 for the last victory at Tannadice. Queens also have a crap record in cup - ties against the Arabs.

Border TV-does anyone remember when they used to cover Queens on a regular basis rather than that garbage they currently churn out where we barely get a mention and even then it can be full of errors!!!!
