Au contraire out test match team needs to play more meaningful games and less one day biff n bash - but of course that's where the money is.

But the team went into the game undercooked - not a single competitive game before walking out to play the test match. Just 2 "you lot bat for a day then we will, and if you're out have another go" games. The result doesn't matter.

So is it any surprise there were headless chicken performances? If the Rams kicked off the championship season without any preseason friendlies, how well would we do?
