    Cedric Wins His Appeal

Good news - Cedric Kipre has won his red card appeal. Its the correct decision but raises other questions about refereeing.

Hardly surprising. Should never have been a card of any colour.

It was the correct decision, but the original card compleltley spoiled the game and disadvantaged us. There's also the issue of Scott Brown who got off scot free no pun intended). He pushes Kipre and is then guilty of gross simulation. Why wasn't he cited by the SFA? Hopefully Craig Thomson won't be in charge of any more of our games.

A shocker of a decision in the first place and an absolute no brainer to cancel the red card. How galling is it though that s******* Brown gets off with no punishment whatsoever. Ugly wee b******.

Fair Play, i didn't think the SFA would admit the error.

Though worth noting Kipre has still been unfairly treated in comparison to Brown.

Aye. Brownie receives no punishment whilst Cedric was effectivley "suspended" for 50 minutes and now also receives a yellow card. The SFA needs to overhaul its disciplinary procedures. Its just no fair!

I wonder if a 'sin-bin' is an answer? Perhaps an option for the ref to tell Brown and Cedric to 'get aff the park for ten minutes and calm yersels!'?

Sin bin, yes. Not for Brown or big Cedric to came down. Put them in a room for ten minutes so the big man can knock seven shades out the cheating wee c***.

Good idea. It would also give officials the opportunity to review any video evidence of the incident. If innocent the player is allowed to rejoin the fray if guilty he stays off.
