Quality of opposition is relative to the league you are in, eg it could be argued that Wolves with their alleged resources in our league and spending power are the equivalent of Man U or Man City in the premier. Perhaps I have misunderstood the point you are making?
the only point that needs making is burnley are seventh in the premier league , and we are four****th in the championship .

very true, but Burnley spent an absolute fortune to achieve promotion, busted their wage structure in the process and took risk after risk after risk - nope that didn't happen.

They built slowly, solidly, in budget, to a plan and gave it time to work - what other team do we know of that is attempting that proven successful strategy?

Proving you don't have to do a wolves to win promotion

For many parts of the season Bristol City, Sheffield United, Cardiff City, have been in or near the top 6, I wouldn't take any of their players bar maybe flint at Bristol

Those 3 ain't blessed with quality players, but they're all having a good season, it's cringe worthy to be sure!

this club have never built , they sell on a regular basis anything of value , hence the reason we are still nowhere near the premier league , saiz and jansson going in the summer will tell you everything about radrizaanis so called strategy fella.

the gap in quality between the premier league and the championship is huge . the championship is a dog eat dog league, with most of the teams capable of beating each other at any given time .

the premier league consists of some of the best players in the world , teams like man city , chelsea , etc , could put their second teams out, and still beat leeds hands down . thats why most of the teams who drop out of the premier league, are back up either straight away, or within a couple of seasons, because they are used to playing far better teams.
