MillersMad Matchthread - Southend v The Millers

As I sit at home wondering how I'm going to carry the beer all the way to where the computer is from the fridge another thought entered my head.
Win today and we're another step closer to cementing a place int Play-Offs. I've just read that Southend have won at home against all of the better teams in the league so it is not going to be as easy as we'd like. We'll have to be at our best to get this result today but it isn't the first time this season.

The line up isn't going to change too much I think. It wouldn't surprise me if we didn't see any changes what so ever. Personally I'd put Wood in for Ajayi to help Vaulks become a good central defender. He'll be a great asset to us at that position. It's just my view but think of this. Every time he has switched position he has had a very good game but in his second game his preformance drops until eventually he drops out of the team. It is clear that Warne wants him to be anywhere in the team apart from up front or int net but to do that he needs help. I don't think he'll replace Towell or Palmer now unless they are suspended or injured. Wood would help him by eductating him by talking or by example. It will be tough on Ajayi and Icky but to reach the play offs we need to be as solid at the back as possible.

Can't wait until this starts today! It's going to be a beer fuelled first half, meat and tatty pie half time and the continued beer fuelled second half to the end of the game!!!!

Beer, pies, sausage rolls come on Rotherham score a goal!!

Lavery not on the bench. Apparently it's a mistake, he has been ill and so he's not in the team.
Just Jerry Yates as out striking option from the bench.

I have to be honest, a sense of dread just came over me knowing the Price is in goal.
