On March 7 1964 we beat Swansea 3-0 and on April 4 we bet Preston 4-2. What was What was unusual about these games?

Would this be anything to do with the fact that both opponents played each other in the FA Cup semi Final ?
We beat Swansea about 6 days before they lost to PNE in the semis. By the time we played Preston they probably had one eye on the FA Cup Final which they lost 3-2 against West Ham.
