On it goes, another one. Marianne Tellier, a Labour branch secretary in Sheffield, has been suspended after posting a fake job-centre sign on Twitter bearing the words,

    'Arbeit Macht Frei'

FFS, there are some very sick people running the Labour Party.

BT : About your holiday here ,what a time to choose temps will be from 27C to 43C depending were you go. But knowing you can leave your winter woolies behind, and your 'long John's'. Sandals ,shirt or T-shirts and shorts is all u need.Let me know near the time . I am in the north near Acre (Akko).

BT:......''All I know Balan is that around 5 million Palestinians are living in appalling conditions on the West Bank and the Gaza strip.''

Take a good look at Hamas! Its not Israels fault but Hamas, Insted of caring for the people ,the millions they get from the Gulf States, plus other countries , they build tunnels and all to fight their war machine. If they did care for them, how would they attract donations etc ??Rest assured their leaders are well off.

Its going to be hot on the Israel /Gaza border today ,they plan to cross into Israel.......

As Hamas plans 'March of Return' toward Israeli border on Friday, thousands of IDF soldiers deployed along the border, parts of the border area declared closed military zones, and troops equipped with non-lethal crowd dispersal measures in effort to avoid fatalities on Palestinian side

The IDF has completed works to build fortifications in the form of massive mounds of earth, behind which dozens of snipers will be stationed on Friday.................

Motion to suspend and re-educate all Holocaust deniers within the Labour Party.

Anti-Semitism is a stick that is being used in one way or another to beat every one of us within the Labour Party.
I find it morally reprehensible and incredibly difficult to accept that any person with an intellect beyond the stage of a day old tadpole can deny the Holocaust.

To deny the Holocaust goes way beyond racism and anti-Semitism, it insults the deaths of 6,000,000 victims of industrial scale genocide.

In my capacity as Political Education Officer of the Bolton North East Constituency Labour Party and active member of Momentum I have recently discussed a motion with the Astley Bridge Labour Group that expulsion from the Labour Party for Holocaust deniers should not be mandatory.

We are all agreed that the perceived anti-Semitic threads that are allegedly woven into the very fabric of the Labour Party are eradicated once and for all.
A suggested alternative to automatic expulsion, the Astley Bridge Labour Group propose in our motion that a suspension should be obligatory and the Holocaust denier will only be re-instated to the Labour Party following a good old socialist style re-education process.

A mandatory visit to the Imperial War Museum in London and a look inside the Holocaust Exhibition followed by a compulsory trip at their own expense to visit the Documentation Centre Nazi Party Rally Grounds in Nurnberg, Germany would provide the requisite steps towards re-education.

If that doesn't swing it, perhaps a forced train journey to Auschwitz from Paris in a cattle truck with a collection of like-minded Holocaust deniers? Conceivably a privately funded visit to the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Centre in Jerusalem might finally remove any lingering doubts?

There is no excuse for anti-Semitism, there is absolutely no credible alternative but to accept the horrors the Jews of Europe suffered at the hands of the Nazis.

The greatest sadness in my lifetime is that we refuse to learn from the lessons of history.

Don't single out and criticise Jeremy Corbyn because he fails to fully grasp the horrors of anti-Semitism and the hurt it causes our Jewish comrades. Look instead towards our global leaders who have consistently stood by and watched different genocides in locations such as Rwanda, Bosnia, Syria and now Myanmar.

We never learn do we? To echo the sentiments of the British Jewish community, enough really is enough!

If these proposed steps towards re-education are a little too draconian for the steps of the more conciliation minded Labour Party members, perhaps a watered-down version of our re-education plan could be implemented?

Thanks gents! I KNEW alto would sort it out :-)

I am not anti-semitic, anti-muslim or anti any race or group.

However, in the Israel/Palestine conflict I strongly believe that the Palestinians are being treated inhumanly - and (as usual) we are actually supporting the Israeli side.

What is the end game here? Do we really want the Palestinians to have nowhere to call home?
It certainly seems that way with Israel grabbing more and more of their land.

The current, and very real, danger at the moment is that people like me (and BT) could well be labelled anti-semitic for holding these views...whilst nothing could be further from the truth.I know plenty of people with a Jewish background who I am happy to call friends.

It is the way that Israel, the US and(to a lesser extent) the UK ,are quite obviously happy to see continued shocking treatment that the Palestinians are being subjected to that I have a massive problem with.

And several of my Jewish friends agree with me on this.

So yes, let's get rid of genuine anti-semitic behavior BUT Israel should not be immune from criticism of it's actions in this very one sided conflict.
