    Hearts after Dykes

Press reports this morning in the Record and Scotsman indicate that Hearts are keen to commence talks with Queens with regards to signing Lyndon Dykes. Given that he signed a contract until the end of next season Queens will be asking for a transfer fee and with our current financial plight this sound good news and will no doubt also please the large number of critics the lad has on this site. The club was not so daft to offer him an extended contract after all having said that other clubs were sniffing around.

Don't think Dykes is anywhere near ready to step-up.

Amazing if it is true - a better player than him Gavin Reilly went to the Jambos and was really not very successful

The simple reason Dykes signed a contract extension earlier this season was Queens were aware clubs were watching him. They don’t want to leave and receive nothing for him if he’s out of contract. It also helps that his girlfriend doubles up as his agent

It's not as easy as you think giving up the life of a WAG!
