Yes,it comes as a shock. Heard him on a radio show only a couple of days ago and he sounded fine.

He had a heart attack which cause him to fall and smack his head on something.

He's in an induced coma.

Didn’t realise he suffers depression and is an alcoholic. Such a shame for someone else who represented their clubs and country so well.
Hope he can make a recovery.

Absolutely desperate news. He played in the only FA Cup Final I’ve ever been to in 1983.

Used to be a regular guest on Alan Brazil’s breakfast show.

He was an articulate man and a terrific footballer & ambassador for his sport.
