For those travelling to Accrington it is currently being reported in the media that the M62 is closed in West Yorkshire between J27 and J26 due to a collision between two cars with one travelling in the opposite direction. A diversion route is in place between both junctions.
Therefore you may need to allow extra time for your journey and look out for further travel updates.
