    Frear

Can someone explain to me what Frear brings to team ?
With the exception occasion cross ball and I mean can count on three fingers per game, he offers very little.
He makes little impact mid-field, weak in the challenge both on ground and in the air. Offers no protection to full back. Rarely gets past defender to attack defence or line. Offers minimal goal threat. In fact, pains me to say …. Ainsworth offered more !

Any time Frear plays the opposition players/manager target him as a weakness in our team,he appears to play in front of Dunne wide left in our midfield but ha can’t tackle, man Mark or offer any protection to our back line. Fail to sea what the manager sees in him

Frear hit a spell of form towards the end of last season but hasn't really got going since his injury.

However, in fairness to him, no winger is going to look anything other than dismal in our current favoured set up. He does his best when put in at wing-back, you can't blame him for not being very good in a situation he so clearly struggles to cope with.
