Be careful about asking for a change of manager as there are few promising and affordable candidates out there so it would be best instead to give the team our full support starting tonight against the Bairn's. These dwindling crowds are simply not sustainable for full time football and if you are a fan of the club these are the times where we really need to show just what it means to all of us. Mon the South.

An excellent post Spike and something that we should all be mindful of.

Changing the manager is not always the answer, but changing the way the manager manages might be a better option.

Clearly, accepting a leaking defence and a young inexperienced goalkeeper is unsustainable for any club, and Naysmith should be actively encouraged to be looking for a replacement in that particular department.

One other point I wold like to make is that 2018 / 19 might not be our Centenary season, - it might be seasob 2019 /20?

Alternatively, of course, there is the option to make the most of both seasons to maximise the potential revenue streams.

You are correct Mark, the Centenary season should be 2019-20, but 2019 is the Centenary year.

I was also asking previously about what season should be the Centenary one.
Queens first match was in August 1919 but were founded in March 1919. Of course, the club didn't play in the Scottish League until 1923-4.

ODB - thanks for the confirmation, - which still eaves the potential to spread the impact over two seasons as 2019 is clearly involved in two Scottish footballing seasons.

I accept that 2019 is our Centenary year, - but it would be madness to ignore the opportunity of extending it over two full seasons.

Yes indeed Mark. The whole thing could be turned into quite a profitable venture, stretching throughout 2019.

Yes indeed. The management team, half of the players and the BOD.
