The only way to beat that record would be if there was a Russian team near Alaska and they played Kaliningrad which looks about another 3000 miles.

Kaliningrad is a strange place (I think it is called an enclave?). Not connected to Russia mainland at all, and between Lithuania and Poland i think.

A girl at my work comes from there (sorry I don't have pics), an absolute stunner and a devout Russian.
