Appleton has proved himself at Oxford but then took the money to be just a coach at Leicester, which was disappointed.

Would have liked him to have carried on his own managerial career and show what he can do.

If Appleton gets the job I won’t renew.

Out of previous players McInnes has to be the superior choice.

I’d be happy to see Mowbray return if not the Leicester duo.

McCarthy would cause a rebellion that we could barely survive.

Did you buy a half season ticket then mickd, as I remember you being quite vociferous in pre season that you weren't going to renew and were going to go to Stourbridge games instead.

Foolishly I let 46 years of love blind me and I bought a season ticket before the first match and a half season ticket for Stour.

Both have proved stupid purchases as I’ve not used either very much in recent months.

I feel so sad and angry about Albion as so many of us could see this coming from a mile off!

As a manager I wouldn't take the position until the end of the season. You would merely be overseeing a corpse.

Bookie on talksport saying a lot of money going on Chris wilder.

Earnt his corn at the cobblers and blades so wouldn't mind him at our place.

He should know of some undiscovered gems in the lower leagues and may even sway highly rated Brookes to come to us from Sheffield United.

I don't want mcinenes because of his disasterous spell at Bristol city. Aberdeen were finishing 2nd under him in Scotland because that was the natural order up there without rangers being in the prem.

Now rangers are back he hasn't got Aberdeen above them, so he hasn't done anything outstanding up there Imo.

We need to take time over this appointment and not rush into anything. I fully expect Darren Moore to be in charge until the end of this season. We must not get this next appointment wrong so it is imperative that we take time over it. As for McCarthy being second favourite at 4-1, then God help us!

The papers and BBC are already stirring up that McInnes would take the WBA job if offered as they did for the SevCo and Sunderland jobs.
We have the opportunity to go 3 clear of SevCo tonight if we win our game in hand.
SevCo having had a significantly greater budget this year, finishing second would be an achievement.

McFadden (ex-Motherwell player and coach) touting him for the WBA job, with us playing Motherwell tonight and needing the win to have a chance of top 6.
Trying to unsettle McInnes seems to be a natural thing up here with SevCo not running away ahead of the rest.
