    Couldn't disagree more mate. He is nowhere near match fit, so would be suicide to put him into a game like this, not to mention detrimental to his full recovery. Colchester aren't a dirty side but this game could turn into another battle.

    Not neccessarily. Nolan thinks Alan Smith is good enough for the bench but wouldn't start him because he knows he couldn't last ninety minutes. He can last for the last fif**** minutes though and does a job of disrupting opposition attacks and strengthening the middle of the Notts midfield when we are winning and hopefully hold on for a win. Perhaps Nolly thinks this is a job O'Connor can do, or something like it, while he regains his fitness.
