MATCH DAY POST: The Mighty Blades v Middlesbrough

So after the balls up in Barnsley, it's back to BDBL for the visit of Middlesbrough. It's been a wonderful season, but it would all but be over without a victory tonight. 5 games to go, and 4 points behind, we really need to make that 1 with 4 to play. That's without contemplating other teams results. Will be a very difficult task, but unless we get lucky elsewhere a draw doesn't seem enough....

    Anyway..

    Any team news?

Unless Duffy is to start it would seem unchanged?

Blackman's final game of a 3 match ban.

    Stearman still out?

Well our recent record is again good at home, undefeated in 5, but this will be a big test against a Boro side that know victory will put them in a very strong position. Victory for us could really change things again, but Millwall and Bristol City look likely to win.... Derby play Wolves tomorrow...... Nothing is certain in football though, and I'll go for a hopeful 2-1 Blades victory....

We have to win both these home games to have any chance of the play offs

Win or bust tonight. We could easily have had 9 points from the last 3 games but came away with 2. It is right that we have dramatically over achieved but while we still have a chance we should all keep believing. The other teams around us have hard run ins and there are a lot of 6 pointer games. There will be a few twists and turns to come but we simply have to beat Boro to stay in this. Looking at this as a neutral Millwall seem to have the momentum and are ending the season like we started it.

Same team as Saturday, i thought Duffy would start. Hopefully that midfield 3 give a Cardiff performance and not a Barnsley one.
