Don't have access to the stats, but what is the United record against the other play off hopefuls this season.

Livingston - one win, two defeats

Dunfermline - two wins, two draws

So we have a good chance to progress over two legs to Dunfermline but undoubtedly would need to up our game against Livingston.

It's by no means impossible but I can't see anything other than Livingston going up this season. Their players have the desire.

Not much enjoyment for the fans at Tannadice just now but I'll tell you this, there will be 11 tangerine-clad players enjoying it less. You can see & feel the tension in their play, the confidence is zero & they'll be bricking it they don't go behind to an early goal.

I wonder if there are any fans anywhere who would be vocally supporting their team in a run similar to ours. I'd like to think so.

We just need a wee 3-0 or so, Mohsni (2) & Ralston.

it wouldnt surprise me if united pulled a performance out tonight and pumped saints then played hartleys jam team and lost looking a shadow of the team that played a few days previously.

lose lose for united players tonight.

Win- fans happy but will wonder where the F*** the performances like that had been all season
draw- just meh and saints still win league (i think)
Lose- watch as another team win the league right infront of you and another embarrassment

Win and we can get level with Dunfermline on points with a game in hand giving us an increased chance for 3rd. An advantage in play-offs.

Win and we can spoil St Mirren's title party.

    Win and some negativity lifts.

Win and they go a small way to restoring some personal pride.

Win and they get a win bonus.

It's not lose-lose. It never is.
