Because we have GMS on left.
Also McGinn can comfortably play there too.
McGinn is better on the left than GMS is on the right.
Wright prefers left too (although I’m not convinced he’s good enough).
So I’d say right needs cover more?

What if the Victims sell Tierney for the multi-millions being quoted? Would they come in for Shinnie, meeting the valuation of a boy whose contract is running down?

Would agree with you.
A couple will be loans at the end of the English window I’d think.
So maybe only a couple prior to kicking off (as DM eluded to) recently.
I’d say a right sided defender & a right sided wide player are priority.

IMO we’ll sign a right sided defender who’ll go “above him” in the pecking order.

I wonder if Reading would consider loaning Adi Popa, one of the most entertaining and hardworking right-sided midfielders I've ever seen when he was at Steaua. A right-sided Jonny Hayes and the same energy getting up and down the pitch: "the motorbike", the Steaua fans called him. Jaap Stam bought him at Reading then hardly played him. Ended up on loan in Saudi at the tail end of last season.

Right tin hat on. Jason Cummings on bbc sport this morning. Never got a deal with the blue filth and cannae get a game at forest. There’s a player there but obviously is tainted!!! Shoot me down but I think he’d be a decent acquisition
