    I’d take Johnny Hayes
Play him in CM alongside Shinnie

A good few will come from there.

    As for players up here?
Ive heard folk suggest mulumbu & McGeoch.
    Both good players.
However both will be down south next season.
I also like Glen Kamara at Dundee but hes under contract until next summer.

My guess is any players from up here will be from the next level down.
Someone like Ali Crawford at Accies for example.
Oh aye, and about 5 or 6 on loan again
Id guess we'd go for ali crawford as a cheap replacement for mclean, out of contract and available on a free, dont know much about him, just back from long term injury? Wouldnt think he's an upgrade on mclean but can see us going for him as he'd cost nothing,a bit of a meh signing to be honest if it happened

Is there something wrong with actually signing a centre midfielder to play in centre midfield ? Every other team appears to be able to do it.

    Forget about Hayes.

He did well for us, he got well paid for doing well for us.

    Now he's a Tim.

I really don't understand this mindset.
He was a good player for us and made us some money when he moved on

Ryan Gauld is being mentioned on another forum, not sure if he would be a good signing or not but I would imagine he is better than Ali Crawford.

One of the more recent urban myths that should be nipped in the bud.

Go on then, nip it in the bud.

Jonny Hayes signs new Aberdeen contract extension

    From Feb 2017
Aberdeen winger Jonny Hayes has signed a contract extension until the summer of 2019.

The 29-year-old Irishman was the subject of three failed bids from Cardiff City during the January transfer window.

"I was more than happy to sign again and I have appreciated every minute that I have been here," said Hayes, who moved to Pittodrie in 2012.

"I am still enjoying it as well, working under the manager."

Where does it say he signed the extension so we'd get money for him?
