My worry is with Ball and Shinnie as the two sitting players we don't really have the same kind of class in terms of pinging passes, driving forward or building moves. Shinnie can drive forward but he doesn't control things and make the play in the way McLean did.

Gleeson will play as one of the 2 in midfield, its fvcking amazing that he's been written off by some on here already.

2/ He hasn't been first pick


Number 2 is particularly worrying. I expected to see this seasons team come out the tunnel with Gleeson and Forrester being paraded as our 2 main signings.

F*ck me. **** is still free. Why are folk chugging themselves off to Hibs’ signings. I’ll give a f*ck about Hibs when they run Celtic close for a season.

We all know that'll never happen. There's more chance of Lennon throwing his toys out of his pram and leaving them like he threatened to do at the end of last season.

There's a good reason for that. Both of them picked up injuries during pre-season FFS.

I think their lack of involvement is;

1) down to both having injuries pre-season & not fully up to speed
2) Lewis Ferguson making an impact earlier than we anticipated.

Number 2 is the clincher. Can't get a ****ing game!
Forrester, a stiff breeze aff the North Sea, will fold the boy. Looks to have skill, but affa lightweight.
Gleeson has never been a player. Judged on watching countless games from the English leagues. A duff.

Every now and then though you find yourself horrified that other Aberdeen fans could hold a particular viewpoint.

This with bells on. Early days still but if neither of these 2 were deemed good enough to start 2 of our biggest games of the season ahead of an 18 year old then it does not bode well.
