    And the bickering continues.

FFS let's see who we bring in and see them play a few games before the doom and gloom.

Hopefully we can improve our squad with some deft signings.

Don't think you can blame Milne for Fraser.

A few months before he went he would have jumped at an offer of a renewed contract but the club showed no urgency, because we didn't rate him particularly highly.

Assessing the quality of the kids coming through isn't Milne's job, it's the management team's - in this case led by Pa Broon. He should have been knocking on Milne's door and saying we need to get this kid tied up before the scavengers come sniffing, especially given our recent history of promising youngsters disappearing for buttons.

But the dozy old kuunt didn't twig he had a player on his hands until he'd been MOTM in about 4 consecutive games, by which time everyone and his dog also knew and his contract was nearly up. We were no longer negotiating from a position of reasonable strength because he wasn't signed and clubs with more money wanted him. Yes there was gross incompetence, but it wasn't Milne's gross incompetence.

I don't hold any grudges with Fraser moving when he did and he has been proven right in the decision he made. When the opportunity arises then grab it. You may lose form or suffer a bad injury. It's why McKenna should move if a life changing offer cones in. This is real life for these youngsters. I hope we have a percentage of anything Fraser move, he would be a 10M player in the EPL.

It's not like we lost anyone who was any good.

Strengthen that midfield and put Shinnie in at left back and that should do it.

Shinnie will be in midfield, I'm pretty certain of that
Considine will be kept at left back.

As much as some of the midfield players that left, or will be leaving, weren't that great, the fact remains, they were in the squad and need replaced.

    Tansey
    O'Connor
    Ball
    McLean
    Nwakali
    Christie

All 6 players will be going/gone.
All 6 play centre mid or attacking centre mid
As I say, most were bang average, but they need replaced - maybe not all 6.

We need 3, maybe 4 in and promote a promising young player like Dean Campbell to the first team squad.

McLean has Christie are Scotland internationals and would walk into every other team in SPL outside Celtic. Replacing them will be difficult.

O’Connor wasn’t great but he was a regular starter so he definitely needs replaced with someone decent.

The others were bench fillers and can be replaced by promoting some of the U20s team

Christie wiznae ours and McLean wiznae ony good until he wiznae ours.

Still need the strength in midfield improved though, and perhaps a little craft.

O'Connor has already been replaced by Devlin.
