The only way I would see it as a good signing would be if he was played in midfield alongside Gleeson or Ferguson and Shinnie was moved to left back.

I would be very surprised if Shinnie gets played at left back more than he did last season.

If Shinnie did go to left back, the midfield of the last 2 seasons of McLean, Jack, Shinnie and Christie being downgraded to Ball, Gleeson, Tansey and Forrester would hurt a wee bit....

How are you working out he is 100 times the player Tony O’Connor is?

I would say there is very little between them.

Cos he can play a forward pass, doesn't always go backwards etc etc?

Maybe not 100 times, maybe 70 or 80 times the player, then. 🙄🙄
