Like taking a water pistol to a gun fight.
He's probably trying to get as much in as he can.
I remember Harry Redknapp saying we couldn't afford Stewart last year either.

Barry Fry is a grade one cock, how would he know who we are after, surely we have a higher calibre of player on the transfer radar for next season.

We have signed some dross from the lower English leagues so I expect more of the same from Del unfortunately.

Picking up Scottish talent whose glamorous English moves have turned sour seems a decent enough route for our club to be taking. Going by the Richardson blueprint in recent seasons - a couple of loan deals including likes of Stevie Mallan, Lewis MacLeod, Jamie Walker or Barrie McKay will surely be on the cards.

Only enthused about Mallan out of that lot.
Lewis Macleod and Jamie Walker have injury problems, Barrie McKay has a work rate problem

Isn’t Barry Fry the Director of Football at Peterborough?

When that cockney cnut Fry starts going public about any potential transfer deals, is when we tell the cockney cnut to do one.

We do our transfer business professionally, both in and out.

He can stick his bidding war up his fat cockney ar.se

Getting Mallan on a free from relegated Barnsley could be a decent McLean replacement if he’s hungry to build on early potential.

bbc gossip column claiming Hamilton are hitting us with £500k compensation for Lewis Ferguson. Can’t see us stumping that up for a young and relatively untested guy who is likely going to sit on the bench most of the season.

Scott McDonald released from Dundee Utd - I’d have taken him last year as a better backup option up front than Maynard but he’s possibly a bit too old now.
