Can't see this for a number of reasons...
1) He's very old - brings good experience to the squad, but old defenders coming north for an easy end to their career never do well.
2) He'll be on a pretty high wage having played in the EPL for many years
3) We don't need to splash out a load of wages on a central defender who isn't really required when there are other areas of the team where we have less cover.

Hopefully he goes to Rangers or Hearts. If we've enough money for his wages, I'd rather we brought in someone else!

When does the transfer window end by the way?

It's Hearts that will sign him if Anyone. Aberdeen was only mentioned to crowbar in reference to the Tim's approach for McKenna

They only put 2+2 to get 5 as McKenna was linked to the green scum.

Jimmy Dunne, a very good signing if they can keep him for the season instead of six months, which is the length of the loan deal

We went after 38 year old Miller in the summer so the McAuley story might have more legs than he does but I doubt it...

Hearts were never going to be pairing up Hughes and McAuley so I tend to think the story is nonsense
