McKenna signing till 2023 does not put us in a stronger position should any offers come in.
why did we extend from 2021 to 2023 only 5 months after he previously extended?
Inversely, we don't lose value as players contracts run down.

If thats what you want to believe, so be it.
What does that have to do with your "fact" that Jonny Hayes signed a contract at Aberdeen so he would get us more money?

    To answer your obvious point;

    1) McKenna gets more money

It’s not that much more is it.

Do you work for the club?I don’t think I have ever seen you put a negative post about the club, that’s some going being a Dons fan.

    Agree.
Not that great but better than Crawford.

Another “classic” McInnes type signing would be Lewis MacLeod.
Young player that left SEVCO to go to Brentford.
He got injured & lost his way - not sure if still injured?

I reckon we sold Hayes on the cheap. Bad business deal selling one of our best players at time to the team that we are trying to compete with. Hayes has been missed as no one has been able to replicate his ability he provided in the last couple of seasons.

I thought Gauld was a forward rather than a midfielder? Not sure about Crawford but he may play better with better players as such. Still young and a lot to prove.
McInnes will have a couple of aces up his sleeve to get the fans back onside for the start of next season.

I have also heard that the McGeough deal is not necessarily dead, his agent is trying to get us to up our offer by telling the media he has offers down south.

McGeough was excellent against us in the last match at Easter Road. He would be a decent signing.

More is more and no I do not work at the club.
I can be critical, when its warranted.
Like the 3-0 defeat to SevCo, the tactics was abysmal. DM totally got that wrong.
But I don't go on and on about it. I move on to the next game.

I don't wish Hayes any ill and he had a rare quality for us, the type of player that gets you off your feet. Ultimately though, Hayes likes money. Nothing wrong with that. He worked hard with us, deserves it and I can understand why people would want to make up stories to paint him in a better light. The problem is that those stories somehow become "fact" over time.
