What makes you think Gauld is looking to return to Scotland anyway? Has he indicated as much? I thought he had assimilated himself into Portuguese life...

No idea about Gauld preference but he has to go somewhere (he's not made the Sporting squad) and Dons/Hibs both in the running.

We don't have the concept of squads in Scotland (yet...) but I make Christie about 25th in line so he needs to go somewhere too.

I'd be happy enough with Gauld. He looked very decent before he left. Also fresh blood.
