We have approximately £250,000 hard cash to spend. Roughly 10 went out the door last season and this season so far 3 have come in. No point signing players to just have a certain squad size as we need players who will improve us. Some young players will be promoted to the first team squad permanently as should be required anyway if we want to improve them. We will definitely need to get in 4 more players but with a budget of £250,000 I certainly don’t expect a good standard of player.
If I was a DNA contributor I would certainly be asking what the hell have they done with our money?

Who thinks this could all be a bluff from Aberdeen FC and we will see them splash the cash soon and give us a squad of players that will be feared by our competition in the league for this coming season?

DM himself said it was nowhere near the reported £500k
EE suggesting it was around £250k.

That would make sense - The AberDNA money has raised just north of £600k to spend on players apparently, according to Milne, once expenses/VAT are deducted;

We've spent £200k on Chris Forrester
will be roughly the same for Lewis Ferguson - just under maybe.
The balance (roughly £250k) on Marquis

So, it suggests we have £250k to spend on a player.
Then the balance will be made up of loans

A professional team cancelling a friendly because of a lack of players is a poor show.

I was going to Dufftown v Huntly on Saturday but its cancelled as Dufftown are struggling for players

Calm down lad, we've spent a wee bit of money already and there will undoubtedly be others arriving, some free, some loan and some for a fee. Some will prove to be pretty useless, some will be similar to the players they're replacing and maybe 1 or 2 will prove to be excellent. It's the same every year.

I'd have liked to have seen another couple of new faces by this point too, but I think there'll be activity this week. If we're still in the same situation in a couple weeks time, then will be the time to panic!
