If he goes to St.Mirren then we will definitely need to sign another keeper and Woodman was the obvious choice.
Can Woodman also play Left Back ?

To spend money on a keeper to sit on the bench all season, whether it be a permanent signing or a loan, would be a total waste of budget in my mind, especially when we have a perfectly good back up keeper already at the club. Makes no sense whatsoever.

Got a feeling we might reignite interest in Ali Crawford as he’s left Hearts where he was on trial apparently. Would be an easy signing who would provide midfield cover, has good experience in spl and who on his day is a decent player.

I reckon at least 2 in this week. Squad looking threadbare with a handful of injuries...

    Lewis
    Logan devlin McKenna considine
    Shinnie Ferguson
    Wright mcGinn GMS
    May / Rooney

Probably our best starting 11 given the reported injuries - still looks ok, but if anyone else is out we’d be really struggling
Ali Crawford is not good enough
If he can't cut it at Hearts, he's of no use to Aberdeen
He's barely kicked a ball in 18 months
I'd rather Frank Ross got game time as Chris Forrester's understudy than Ali Crawford.

Aye but RST, you're forgetting that Ali Crawford doesn't fit in with Potter's idea of a hammer thrower either so he would probably fit into our system a lot easier ;-)

Wonder if we’ve considered Ryan Williamson of Pars after the Naismith snub. Predominantly right-back but looks like he could do a turn in central defence. Liam Polworth of Caley also worth a look - versatile across the midfield, technical ability and a wee bit of an edge.

Another couple of Scottish loons, nominal £100k and Tansey plus £50k add ons should be enough to get them in.

Ali Crawford was one of these players who the press and fans always talked about yet never seemed to stand out when I saw him play.

Squad player? Nah, like above I'd rather we blooded a couple of promising younger players. Any money we have should be used to sign first picks that will improve our quality and starting 11.

I take it that the funds created by the DNA contributions are getting stuffed into Milnes mattress at the moment as McInnes has stated that the money they offered for Marquis (rumoured to be £250,000) is as high as we could go.
How about we all chip in and give Milne £100 each as times are hard for the club and chairman?

Was Milne not saying the other day that 600k was available for bringing in players.

    What’s happened to that money?
