Besides, I don’t think McInnes (rightly or wrongly) sees “no10” position as priority.

I think it’s quite high up but I don’t think he does.
He sees Forrester or Ferguson for that role I think.

I’d say greater priority is
- striker
- Defensive cover - ideally left back
- cover/genuine completion out wide.

Third priority is another winger to reduce burden on GMS

Fourth priority would be a no10.

I think this is the greater concern for me. Hibs and Hearts are signing plenty players and are scoring goals for fun just now, while our squad looks desolate and relatively poor in attack.

I know im reiterating what others have said, but Im really f*cking confused because we got rid of heaps of players, havent even near replaced the lot of them, we have the extra DNA money and still no real impact signings and the squad looks threadbare. I think the club has fallen well short on the fans expectations so far and while there is still time in this window, the lack of urgency or even the realisation that we are only two or 3 injuries away from a potential disaster of a season is frightening.

There needs to be an explanation, and nae some half arsed ****e about how Devlin and Cosgrove were part of the transfer window. Where the f*ck has the money from DNA gone? where is the money from the Burnley games going? i know most will say the new stadium, but the club need to spill the beans.

I can see this season being an utter disaster if we dont start making moves. The clubs around us are all bringing in players and good players (Sevco signing a Croatian Internationalist left back for £2.2M), while we are still relying on players like Considine (no disrespect to a bloody good servant - but he should have been replaced 2 years ago).

We will struggle to finish top 4 this season based on our current squad. Its not pessimism, its realism.

This c•unt of a new stadium is partly to blame I think.
I was for the stadium a year ago but not now. This rebuilding the squad every summer is finally catching up with us! Blame is firmly with DM on that, hibs have been professional with there recruitment Mallan, Kamberi McLaren.

And today a very decent Ghanaian winger on loan from man city, hibs looked excellent on Sat and that was witj kamberi and McLaren rested!

Even hearts look very dangerous ikpeza or fitever his name is defo looks better than fkn cosgrove! Raging does not cover it.

I’ll wait & see how we shape up in the next few days, but I strongly suspect this is 100% spot on.

I know that was an expression of intent rather then fact, but with injuries to defender the problem of a clear lack of goal scorers and a weaker midfield compared to last season, the Club better get its act together, otherwise I predict a backlash from disgruntled supporters. I also think we'll struggle to finish ahead of Hibs, perhaps even Hearts, never mind the other two!
