    Obviously it can be done, yes. But using that as the model isn't necessarily the best idea. And I'm not saying that throwing money at is like the unclean is the best idea, either. It's no coincidence that the current top two in the league have spent a fair amount of wedge on quality players, though.

    blackpool,wigan ,swansea ,hull, bournmouth,bolton,burnley,reading, all relatively unknown and not a lot spent intitially to get to the premier.

    i also agree with you that spending money on quality should give ya more of a chance. theres been loads o teams on a very low budget and un fancied un fashionable never heard of players that have gone up. like i said on my stupid post,all we need is two finishers and a top centre half and we,ll do well.especially with the manager we have.

    Need to add a keeper to that twirls along with a goal scorer it's the most important position on the pitch and Moore isn't the answer if we want to challenge for play offs or better

    yeah definetly need a keeper just hope we can get blackman back moore top keeper in league 1 but only average at championship level he can only be back up next season as for holmes reminds me a bit of hussey signing and wouldnt suprise me if he is sold back to a league 1 club next season same could well apply to leonard as well
