I thought he would have been the perfect player to come off the bench on Tuesday. We couldn't keep possession and needed someone to put their foot on the ball and slow the game down a bit.

He's never going to be a battler but he's our most composed and creative player, two attributes that we obviously require.

I disagree. We needed to grind it out at the end and Fraser is not the man for that task.

but fraser showed in the games when Ellis was in charge that we was able to put a shift in, get stuck in and even make tackles. i remember him tracking back and helping out alot in the previous st mirren game at tannadice.

whenever we've played him as a no.10 he seems to be happier and therefore more influential. the happier he is the more likely he'll work harder off the ball like he did in the run we had before xmas before he got injured.

the problem with him is if you play him in a position he doesnt really want to play. Ray persisted with him out on the right wing. he showed every now and then he was capable of something but he generally drifted out of games and struggled to really stamp his authority but low and behold when we play a boy in his best position he plays better? strange that eh?

Better in the right position, fine. Work harder? Unprofessional. 🤔

Without any doubt. Unfortunately a lot of our support are utterly blind to this because he doesn't charge into challenges like a lunatic.

He's a fine player and we've really missed him since he's been out. Can be a proper fanny at times though and this is what counts against him with a lot of folk. For the most part he's been great this season.

What's the story with Keatings? Is he out for the season?

If we had one or two that did to provide him the space and do dirty work he would be an amazing player. Gillespie is the closest we have but Briels can do that too. Flood should but is more cold than hot now.
