Yet another example yesterday of big time Charlie footballers not respecting or playing for inexperienced Managers - just watch the highlights of Rangers at Celtic. Shameful reaction by the players but of course they will get away with it.

Sorry GLM just saw the highlights on Sky Sport News.

One player swearing at the Manager and his team when substituted and another swearing at him on his way straight down the tunnel without going to his team mates or management, let alone the player who replaced him.

Players arguing on the field between themselves and all in all no TEAM but plenty of I. No I in team?

To be honest what I have realised is every time we have a good or successful team then the team aspect is excellent. As soon as there is, or appears to be disruption in the squad, results go from bad to worse.

Since Big Dave has come in all that seems to have changed for me is that the players are playing as team and helping, encouraging and respecting each other. Football at the end of the day is a simple TEAM game and history is full of examples of teams that have outperformed expectations by having a great team spirit.

I well remember an Albion team ably led by Big Dave which was greater than the sum of it's parts.

It was managed by Sir Gary Megson .
