All those that believe that Nigel Pearson and Craig Shakespeare should be invited to do the job should e-mail the club even if to only alert them to how we feel.
New day new favourite
Today it’s patrick Kluivert
Tomorrow it will be ?????

I doubt we would employ Groucho to appoint Mad Mick, Mick. Barca and Holland pedigree, it was Vic Buckingham who taught the Dutch total football.
It might just be speculation, but if not Kluivert then i hope someone similar. No more Pulis's or Pardews please, we have a reputation to uphold.
I must admit that I think it is a Risk IF we do go down the Patrick Kluivert route, but it is a really refreshing and brave decision if the story is right.
Seems to be more of a coach on his recent experience although it appears he was also Director of Football for Paris St German. When I saw the headline I thought that the story was going to be about the DoF role not the Manager role. I wonder if that still may be the case or even if we are going to go back to the Peace tried and tested of a first team coach role rather than the Manager role.
The other side of the coin though is that overseas owners seem to be impressed by big name foreign footballers and we have seen that in recent years in all sort of leagues. Whoever we end up with is probably the most important appointment at the club for a long long time. Please get it right.
From what I can see very little managerial experience of any substance. A ‘name’ for sure and he might be potentially brilliant. But it would be a big big gamble especially in such a tough and competitive place as the championship. Too risky. Very strange.
If one of our rivals had taken a a chance and appointed him and he had been a success, I have no doubt that many of us would be looking enviably at them and saying, Why don't we ever take a chance on a young, exciting manager with new ideas etc. To use a well know adage Who Dares Wins.
PK was a class striker, but has done nothing in management and I would prefer tried and tested manager with at least 2 promotions under his belt. Having said that I would not mind his son Justin on loan (fat chance .
Another top Dutch international Edgar Davids was a flop at Barnet, so if we were to go the untested route I would seriously look at Frank Lampard.
He would have a good knowledge of the British game and could get some quality loans from Chelsea (now the c??? Peace has gone).
Got to agree about Kluivert as you say done nothing, does not even show any inclination that he has learned from his experiences.
Not so sure about Lampard, although he talks a good game but risky and the loan options from Chelsea would be expensive and like Lukaku would never be ours. That's the reason I keep banging on about the Pearson/Shakespeare combo. Pearson put the highly successful Leicester squad together for only £23million for the whole squad that would be more in keeping with our budget...we have to see the situation that Lai is in as he bought what he thought was a good business proposition instead of a pig in a poke neatly tied up by Mr Peace.
