    From the horses mouth

So Coleman says that the Newcastle fans he has met have been 'fantastic' with him. If the boot had been on the other foot how do you think their fans would be with Rafa (given the sheer hatred of him from the vast majority on RTG so its probably the best gauge given the amount of posters)?

I think the vast majority would be fine with him...

the vast majority of people are decent. there's a world of difference between mouthing off on a website (which is pretty much the same as bait room crack at work) and actually being nasty to somebodies face.

Colemanīs honesty will do him no favours with the majority of Mackems.

Everyone (apart from the Mackems it seems) knows that all clubs have an embarrassing minority in their support. Whether itīs smearing sh*t on the walls of the toilets or punching horses, we all have them.

I've had plenty banter with the many hundreds of Mackems I've worked with over the years, but not one of them has ever spoken anything like what you read on the comedy channel.

although, i would bet a pound to a pinch of shiit that some of the lads I have known / know, are on there writing that kind of Stuff.

it's just a place to let off steam, it doesn't make anybody a bad person.

    just remember,

"they laughed at us, when we down, now who the f... is laughing now?"

    Indeed - LOL.

Incidentally I think Rafa would have most mackems eating out of his hand after the initial resistance.

To be fair, not many clubs have fans that actually punch horses...
In fact, in that respect I would go as far to say,I think we are pretty much unique...
