The Calderwood years are no where near being the worst in the clubs history.

Alex Miller, Skodhal,Patterson,McGhee and Brown were way worse.

That was a different game I think.

I would say this team was worse, we finished 11th that year on 34 points with 9 wins 7 draws and 22 defeats. If we never signed Scott Booth that season we would have probably got relegated.

Which proves the point. The only teams that won the cup during that time were teams spunking fortunes, so it was harder to win.

Hibs won the League cup in 2007 and Dundee Utd won the Scottish cup in 2010 and I dont think they spent fortunes on their squad.

Anyway that point would be more plausible if the teams who spent fortunes on their squad knocked us out, it was more often than not lower league and part time teams who knocked us out of the cups from 2000 to 2013.

Alex Miller was a ridiculous appointment but nowhere near as nauseating as Calderwood
Skovdahl was a likable sort of lad.
Patterson was a drunk,if someone offers a drunk a job you can hardly blame the drunk
McGhee turned out to be an a'rsehole but for every bad point he had as a manager, he had a good point as a player.
Brown did a decent job although I'll never forgive him for making Foster captain.

The orange blob with the minging voice is by far the worst for me, as bad all all the others put together.
