McGhee was similar to Miller in that it was the lazy weegia driven appointment. Unforgivable as a straightforward interview would reveal the man is and always was a colossal c*nt. Zero thought process and negative results. Just a c*nt.
If we hired someone like Skovdahl now we'd be pretty impressed. Anyone like that now would be very unlikely to even consider us.

Remember that one of the culprits during the 4-3 defeat 10 years ago to QOTS will be playing tommorow in this semi final!

I’ll be glad if he scores 2 goals again.

His 2 goals meant nothing when 4 goals went past him and the rest of the useless b@stards.
Still a lot of folk rate him, goodness knows why?!

My dislike for him started in that game when the QOS part time striker nutmegged him 3 times in 1 go and he ended up on his @rse.

    Total embarrassment.

No it wouldn’t, that’s the point. It doesn’t who knocks us out. If one or two teams are spending more, then the cup is harder to win.

So does that mean it was easier to win the cup in the 80s because there wasn’t any teams spending a fortune on their squads?

It's an argument that goes on and on. Ultimately the last 5yrs have created two new winners and one that hasn't won the cup in over 100yrs. It's not coincidental that Rangers died and Hearts imploded. It was easier to win the last few years than it will be this year and probably next.

Surely it was easier in the 80s because we were better.

No, it’s just that we were the team spending the money.

Calderwood was up against a lot more than McInnes ever was, with a sh1ter side. That is undeniably true

Yes and Calderwood was up against a lot more than Alex Ferguson as well with a sh1ter side,it doesn’t get away from the fact that one of the biggest clubs in Scotland with one of the best budgets never even made it to a final in 14 years because we kept getting knocked out by lower league teams.

We never even gave ourselves a chance against these Big spending teams under the previous managers.
