Ever since some bozo said that waving ya flippin hands around when talking makes you somehow look more intelligent then everybody's at it. Its as though they are attempting to communicate with the deaf. Im sure slimy George Osbourne started the trend of manic waving. Some PR tw*t must have had a big conference a few years back, and nearly everyone flaps about these days on the box (to make them look "passionate").
The worst example is Bumfluff Lineker. Admitted he did need a boot up the arse a couple of years ago, but he now sits on a deckchair, falling out all over the studio floor, just to tell us something we all saw for ourselves on the pitch.
2nd worst was Dave Cameron, who would wave about with his shirtsleeves rolled up, pretending to be "passionate".
