Mail says Syria shot down 13 missiles of 120 that were fired and 3 civilians were injured.

That seems very light to me.

The gob****e blinked first, they've kept well clear of the Russian/Syrian military and bombed some fantasy chemical weapons storage facilities in the desert. WMDs anyone ?

As Sinkov suggests it just a token strike.

O'Bama should have taken action the first time it happened, he didn't so its happened several more times, and now the West has given them a slap on the wrist, too little to late.

Its also never failed to amaze me that we pick and choose which conflicts we get involved with, all over the world Tyrants or vicious groups are killing their own and/or others, some horrific stories of children having their limbs hacked off with Machete's, we don't see video or photo footage of this, perhaps its more appealing for the powers that be to show us children frothing at the mouth instead, when I see both as horrendous crimes.

It has always struck me Alto as being highly immoral to choose just which genocide you want to end.

If we have not declared war on Syria, is it even legal to bomb it?

Sometimes things happen which being in the UK ,you do not hear about.

In Syria ,supporting Bashars regime is Russia,Hezbullah and Iran,Iran is building some infrastucture which Israel claim's the purpose is to attack Israel.Last Febuary Iran launched a drone with explosives into Israel.

Iranian drone that infiltrated Israel carried explosives, tasked to carry out attack.

Study of Iranian UAV that breached Israeli airspace reveals it carried explosives the IDF says were meant to be used in an attack in Israel; IDF Spokesperson: 'by intercepting the Iranian UAV, IAF combat helicopters prevented the attack Iran had hoped to carry out in Israel.' "By intercepting the Iranian UAV, IAF combat helicopters prevented the attack Iran had hoped to carry out in Israel. The UAV was identified & tracked by Israeli defense systems until its destruction, effectively eliminating any threat the Iranian UAV posed," it added in a following tweet.

On Friday, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah threatened that the Israeli-attributed strike opened the prospect of conflict between Israel and Iran. "They have committed a great folly and have put themselves into a direct fight with Iran," the leader of heavily armed and Tehran-backed Shi’ite terror organization said in a televised speech, calling the strike "unprecedented."

I wouldn't worry too much about Iran Balan.

The geopolitical considerations and interests of Washington, London and Paris will always mean that Israel will never be isolated in a conflict with Iran.

Tehran is an obvious target for a short range nuclear missile and they know it.

The Syrian strike seems to have been well targeted and successful in taking out chemical weapons factories with no Russian deaths and only 3 injuries. I would say it has gone well and puts Russia in difficulty of any retaliation possibly attacking countries that have not attacked it, and effectively of fighting for the right of Syria to make and use chemical weapons against civilians.

It also means there is not much for whinging MPs to get their teeth into, though no doubt a few will huff and puff.
