Lincoln are still a threat, though a reduced one, with their two games in hand.

Great result and not one I would have put on paper today - really cementing a position in the play-offs.

Lincoln possibly demonstrating why it's a bad idea to go all the way in the Checkatrade. If they do make the play-offs, it would be hard for them to get themselves up for another Wembley final against somebody who hasn't been there for a very long time. I'd love for Notts to play them under the arch.

    Get in, great win.

Bogger that Wycombe scored late on but away at Lincoln and home to Accy next 2 for them. Not done by a long way.

You know what!!! - I have a feeling that Lincoln will beat Wycombe on Tuesday and that Accy will beat them the following Saturday - if we win the next 2 games - who knows

Colchester look superb.....quick balls from their keeper, 4 passes later they are on the attack...pace, skill, passing....they are carving us open and raining shots at Collin...at one point they ran the length of the field from a quick throw out from the keeper to get a corner.....another time there were 20 odd passes without Notts getting a touch.....their goal was superb quick passing that left their striker one~on~one against Collin that he calmly placed into the corner of the net.

No idea what the answer is but Nolo needs to do something at half~time
Amazing turnaround.....for 50 minutes we were not in this game, Colchester dominated the first half and hit the post at the start of the 2nd with Collin scrambling across the box to try to get a hand on a header.

Notts went straight up the other end...cross to the near post, flicked on and Forte calmly slotted it in, took a couple of steps towards the Notts fans behind the goal and calmly saluted them.....Mr Cool as a pointy vegetable.

You could visibly see Colchester drop their heads....the 2nd Notts goal was simply oustanding in its simplicity...a quick throw out by Collin, who had obviously been told to speed the game up, Virtue ran the full length of the wing with Toots for company, fed Toots who cut inside the defender and hammered it low and hard into the box to Forte, thunderous shot that the keeper parried to Shola, who threw his whole body at the rebound...oh what joy

Notts pretty much dominated the game from then on and the 3rd goal was a simple glancing header by Duffers from a free kick 10 yards outside their box.

Rarely have I seen a game of two completely different halves.....whatever Nolo said at halftime he needs to record and say it again at the start of the next game....tremendous Notts 2nd half performance.

Automatic promotion is still on the cards
