If we are looking for a 4th striker, to compliment Rooney, May and Cosgrove, then surely it was to be somebody with PACE. Does Watt posses that? Dinna think so.

Rooney must STAY. Be a major statement if he is allowed to leave.

Adam hardly getting much minutes as it is - I just fear if another striker comes in and on back of Cosgrove that this will get even worse. I just get impression (given how every year he never starts in the team) that DM doesn't fancy him.
Or at least he never sets up team to get best out of him.

I suppose it depends on how willing he is to accept the subs role.

Agreed that he no longer is first pick, looks like he is going to persevere with May as starter, with Cosgrove for games where he feels he needs more physicality. Call me old fashioned though, but somewhere along the line we need to get back to basics and if he is not going to play Rooney much we need to sign a striker that is going to score a decent amount of goals (15-20 a season). Never mind his potential for being a disruptive influence, Watt simply isn't a goalscorer (since 2014 16 goals in 111 games) and given May or Cosgrove won't be scoring 15-20 a season we need a different solution

McGinn , GMS and Stewart (at a push) are good enough finishers to fill in supporting a back to goal CF it's midfield that concerns me most get AOC and Ball the fck out of there and Shinnie back to left back.
