I'd just appreciate honesty. Were gutted, so SAY were gutted. The players were visably gutted.

The mention of 1 defeat in 31 was desperate in the extreme. He does realise it could be 1 in 35 and we miss top 2 doesn't he?

Well, he's used the word "disappointed" three times. Isn't that the same as "gutted"?
Why have you reverted to hysterical mode in the last ten days?
This is the kind of thing that happens every season. Teams go through good and bad spells, and players get nervy when the pressure is on. I've just had a glance at the results from all four Divisions. An amazing number of injury-time goals, and some big surprises!
Are you really going to try and blame Mowbray for Williams's miss?
This is what I've been trying to tell you all week: as far as on-field incidents like that are concerned, the manager is as powerless as the players. Please justify your answer, if you don't agree.

Why am I hysterical? I can't take the pressure. Like our manager, and in turn, our players..

In the radio lancs interview aucks, he never said disappointed once. He must have changed tack for later interviews.

Sax you really really need to calm down.
You do not seem suited to sports where you always have good days and bad days.
This comment is in all seriousness, as you do display manic tendencies .

I think the reason you are questioning why anyone says do not take much attention from others scores is simply because we have no influence over them so it’s a pointless waste of ‘attention’.
We are no nearer or further away from our ultimate goal than where we where before today’s game. This is in terms of nothing radical is gona change unless Shrews win 6 - 0 in their next match.
This game by game panic serves no purpose.
Today we underachieved , big deal it happens.
Seemingly Wigan did as well, big deal.

It’s only time to concern when it comes to final day and there’s only a point in it.
Even then I won’t be very much stressed, what will be will be.

Because that exactly NAILS football! Surely you can see what I'm saying. If it's just a question of a manager's set-up and instructions, why DIDN'T Wigan score four today!
Why? Because it's a football match between two teams of roughly similar ability. That's why. And the outcome is often determined by a single decisive moment. For us, that moment in Bristol was the missed header. And how on earth could that glaring error be laid at the manager's door?
You simply refuse, time and again, to acknowledge that a football match is unpredictable, once it's under way, because so many different elements are involved.
According to you, it's simple: the manager says, "Go out and batter them 4-0," and the team obliges!
For one thing, what about the OTHER manager?
Come on, Saxo - in your heart of hearts, you know it's nonsense!
By the way, I am not talking long-term. In the world of football, the manager carries the can. If we don't get promoted, there will be a persuasive argument that Mowbray should go, as he will have failed by the standard he set himself. I have no problem with that. It's this drivel that every aspect of a particular game is controlled by someone off the pitch.
