I fcuking hate cancer, has taken so many of my family and friends over the years, as has heart disease. My old man is currently having a very bad time fighting prostate cancer and I have a good friend who is quite literally on his death bed with it. On a positive note after chemo and surgery my sister managed to beat breast cancer last year.

My thoughts go out to Gregg and his family, as they do to anyone else having to face a battle with cancer or any other life threatening illness right now, it really is a batsard!

I'd like to add my best wishes to those above. Greg's a good guy and always gave his best through the ups and downs of football. I hope he makes a full recovery.

All the best to Greg Abbott. A good man and along with Shaun Derry helped to keep us in league one. Also a character as well and Football needs characters.
